Homemade Lemonade
We are just starting to see glimpses of Summer weather, which has me reaching for refreshing drinks. Cue, my homemade lemonade. It’s the perfect alcohol-free option for a backyard bbq, picnic or afternoon pick me up and it feels like sunshine in a glass.
The best thing is, it is so easy to make but will have maximum impact for your guests. And, it is the perfect base if you want to give it a little kick of vodka.
This recipe makes 3-4 serves, but you can easily multiple the quantities for larger groups and serve it in a large jug or glass DIY drinks dispenser, with Seed + Stow Dried Lemon Slices and fresh mint for garnishes.
0.5 cups of freshly squeezed lemon juice
0.5 cups of caster sugar
3 cups of soda water
Seed + Stow Dried Lemon Slice
1. Make your simple syrup by boiling the caster sugar with 0.5 cups of water until the sugar has completely dissolved and the mixture has a syrupy texture. Set aside and allow to cool.
2. Add lemon juice to a jug.
3. Add cooled simple syrup to the jug.
4. Top with soda water.
5. Garnish with a Seed + Stow Dried Lemon Slice.
6. Enjoy!
